heroSOLD is a brand of James Sanson, a licensed Arizona real estate agent with Real Broker. We help service members, military spouses, and veterans make home decisions tied to PCS orders, deployment, hardship, and divorce. James has been licensed in Arizona since 2002 and has closed more than 1,300 sales.
What heroSOLD is, and what it is not
heroSOLD is a brand name. It is not a brokerage, it does not hold a real estate license, and it is not a government program.
- Real Broker is the brokerage. Real Broker is the licensed Arizona real estate brokerage. It supervises James Sanson's real estate activity and all heroSOLD advertising.
- James Sanson is the licensee. James is a licensed Arizona real estate agent who works as an independent contractor with Real Broker. heroSOLD is his brand.
- The James Sanson Team is a team of licensed agents at Real Broker, led by James and supervised by Real Broker.
Anything that requires a license, including your brokerage agreement, your transaction file, and any commission, goes through Real Broker. heroSOLD does not sign agreements, hold funds, or receive commissions or referral fees.

What we do
heroSOLD focuses on the seller side of military home moves:
- Selling a home tied to PCS orders, timed around report dates
- Deciding whether to rent or sell when you PCS
- Selling a home with a VA loan, including assumption and payoff questions
- Remote home sales during deployment or after you move
- Short sale and pre-foreclosure options when a hardship hits
- Divorce-related home sales

Why military-specific
Military home sales come with timing limits such as report dates and deployment windows, legal protections such as the SCRA, VA loan questions such as assumption and entitlement, and practical issues such as split households and powers of attorney. heroSOLD is built around those situations.
heroSOLD is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, or any government agency.
Our service area
We serve Arizona, with a focus on the areas around five installations:
- Luke AFB (Glendale and the West Valley)
- Davis-Monthan AFB (Tucson)
- Fort Huachuca (Sierra Vista)
- MCAS Yuma (Yuma)
- Yuma Proving Ground (Yuma)

How compensation works
If you list with James Sanson, the commission is set in your written listing agreement before any work begins. Commissions are not set by law and are negotiable. Any commission is paid at closing through Real Broker. We do not charge upfront fees.
If we introduce you to another agent and you close a transaction with that agent, a referral fee may be paid through Real Broker, and part of it may be paid to James Sanson. heroSOLD does not receive referral fees. Any referral fee will be disclosed to you in writing before or at the time of the introduction. You are never required to work with an agent we introduce. See our Terms of Service for details.
