Standard we follow

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This includes considerations for visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive accessibility.

Conformance status: partially conformant. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, and some content does not yet fully conform. We state this plainly rather than claiming full conformance we have not independently audited.

What this means in practice

• All interactive controls are keyboard-accessible (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space)
• Focus indicators are visible on every focusable element
• Form fields have visible labels
• Color contrast meets WCAG AA on body text and interactive elements
• The site respects the operating system's reduced-motion preference
• Page structure uses semantic HTML (headings, lists, landmarks) so screen readers can navigate it

Known limitations

This site is a small-team build and no website is perfectly accessible. Areas we are still working on:

• Interactive calculators rely on dynamic updates that may not always announce changes to screen readers as clearly as we want
• Some data tables in market guides may be difficult to navigate with a screen reader on narrow screens
• Third-party embedded content is not always under our direct control

Email help@herosold.com with a description of the barrier you encountered. Include the page URL and the assistive technology you are using if relevant. We will respond within 5 business days.

Alternative ways to engage

If the website is not working for you, the form, the phone line, and email are equivalent ways to start a conversation. We do not require you to use the website to be a client.

Assessment and review

This statement reflects an internal self-assessment rather than a third-party audit. We review it when the site changes materially, and at least annually.
