Join heroSOLD in Arizona.

heroSOLD is a business platform built by the James Sanson Team on top of Real Broker. We have been working Arizona real estate since 2002, helped thousands of Arizona households with their real estate, and earned hundreds of 5-star reviews along the way. Now we are recruiting Arizona agents for our five-base launch market: Luke AFB, Davis-Monthan AFB, Fort Huachuca, MCAS Yuma, and Yuma Proving Ground. The lead patterns are real. The systems are battle-tested. The military niche is open.

If you live in Arizona, want a clear PCS-focused niche, and want to plug into a working AZ team instead of starting from scratch, this is where you apply.

Arizona since 2002

The James Sanson Team has been working Arizona real estate for over two decades. James started in 2002, before iPhones, before Zillow's lead model, before the 2008 crash and the 2012 recovery and everything that came after. In that time, our team has helped thousands of Arizona households with their real estate needs and earned hundreds of 5-star reviews along the way. We have sold homes in every part of the Phoenix metro, watched neighborhoods turn over twice, learned how to read the AZ market through cycles most agents never see.

That track record matters for a recruitment conversation because most teams pitching agents are themselves new. They left production a few years ago, they have not closed a deal in months or years, they sell the dream of real estate without doing the actual work anymore. We are still in production. Our seller-side AZ brand, MaricopaHomesForSale, lists and closes homes every week. The systems we are handing you on the heroSOLD platform come from that working reality, not from a slide deck. The reviews are publicly verifiable; ask us where to find them during the first conversation and we will point you to them.

None of that is a promise about what you will achieve. Real estate income depends on your effort, your market, your timing, and many factors no one can guarantee. What it is, is proof that the team you are joining knows what they are doing. When you ask James a question about pricing a property, marketing a listing, or handling a difficult buyer in the AZ market, the answer comes from someone who has done it thousands of times across two decades.

When you join in Arizona, you are joining a team that knows what an AZ summer listing actually looks like, why September matters more than people think, what Snowbird season does to the Phoenix metro, how the Tucson market lags Phoenix by 60 to 90 days, and a hundred other things you only learn by being here through cycles.

The five Arizona bases we are recruiting for

Each base has its own market, its own lead patterns, and its own founding-cohort opportunity. None of the five has a heroSOLD mission hub yet (that happens at the 8-agent threshold). Right now, every base is open.

Luke AFB (Glendale, Phoenix West Valley)

Arizona's largest military installation. Active-duty fighter community plus F-35 training mission, with significant dependent and retiree populations across the West Valley. The PCS volume here is meaningful. If you are in Phoenix, Glendale, Surprise, Peoria, Buckeye, or the broader West Valley, this is your base.

Davis-Monthan AFB (Tucson)

The second-largest base in our footprint, with a different market dynamic than Phoenix. Tucson real estate has its own seasonality, its own pricing patterns, its own demographic mix. A Tucson agent with the heroSOLD platform plus deep local knowledge is well-positioned. If you are in Tucson, Vail, or Marana, this is your base.

Fort Huachuca (Sierra Vista)

Smaller market, tight community, intelligence-and-military-electronics mission. Sierra Vista real estate moves differently from Phoenix and Tucson. Lower transaction volumes per agent but less competitive. An agent who owns the Sierra Vista military niche has a clear field.

MCAS Yuma + Yuma Proving Ground (Yuma)

Two bases in the Yuma footprint: Marine Corps Air Station Yuma (largest pilot training base in the Marines) and Yuma Proving Ground (Army test center). Together they create a Yuma-specific real estate dynamic. The two bases would eventually share one heroSOLD mission hub at the 8-agent threshold combined. If you are in Yuma, you serve both bases as one market.

Each base also gets its own page on this site (you may have already seen them). When you join, your section of the relevant base page can be customized to your introduction, your contact, and your specific positioning.

What heroSOLD provides to Arizona agents

Same framework as the broader heroSOLD platform, applied to the Arizona market specifically. Two categories: Real Broker company-wide programs (available to all Real agents in AZ or anywhere), and heroSOLD platform-provided resources (offered by the James Sanson Team to agents operating on the platform).

What Real Broker provides to every Real agent in Arizona

The cloud technology platform, transaction management and brokerage services, the standard agent commission structure, and access to equity-eligible compensation and revenue sharing programs that all Real agents can participate in. Real does not provide physical brick-and-mortar offices or company-funded coworking memberships as part of its standard agent offering. These programs are the same for any Arizona Real agent, regardless of which team or platform they join inside Real.

What the heroSOLD platform provides to Arizona agents on it

Lead generation focused on the PCS military niche, surfacing leads from the heroSOLD seller-facing site (and from the MaricopaHomesForSale ecosystem where relevant). heroSOLD brand assets you can use to market your own business as the PCS pro at your base. Listing-first playbooks built from our actual AZ production work. PCS-specific training (timeline-compressed sales, VA loan handling, deployment-affected transactions, remote sales, spouse-led sales, hardship situations). Direct mentorship from James and the working AZ team. Access to our growing referral network as it builds. And the planned mission hub at your base once we hit 8 agents there.

These heroSOLD platform resources are offered by the James Sanson Team, not by Real Broker corporately. They are not required to join Real. We follow Real's Agent Attraction Code of Conduct: anything we offer is offered to every agent operating on the heroSOLD platform on the same terms, and we do not offer personalized incentives in exchange for naming us as a sponsor.

The James Sanson Team mentorship layer

This is what is genuinely different about joining in Arizona right now. Most recruiting teams are pitching you remotely from people who have not sold a home in a long time. With us, you are joining a team that lives in Phoenix, sells in Phoenix every week, and is available to meet in person when you need it. The mentorship is hands-on, AZ-specific, and from people who are still in production. That is the meaningful difference for an Arizona agent considering this platform.

If you are a military spouse with a license from another state

This section is for incoming military spouses who already have a real estate license elsewhere and are moving to Arizona. If that is not you, skip this section.

Arizona has licensing pathways that may apply to military spouses moving to the state, including provisions under the federal Military Spouses Residency Relief Act (MSRRA) and Arizona-specific provisions in state law. The general framework:

Federal MSRRA provisions

The Military Spouses Residency Relief Act allows certain military spouses to maintain their residency status from their previous state for tax and certain other purposes when they relocate with an active-duty service member. This affects state income tax, voter registration, and some licensing situations. Real estate licensing specifically is governed at the state level, so what MSRRA does for you depends on how Arizona implements the law.

Arizona-specific licensing pathways

The Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) has provisions that may apply to military spouses moving to Arizona. The general path is: apply to ADRE with your active-duty spouse's orders, your existing license in good standing from your prior state, and other documentation ADRE requires. ADRE has specific application processes for military spouse licensing transfers. Specific requirements, fees, education waivers, and timelines depend on factors including which state your existing license is from, the type of license you hold, and your active-duty spouse's orders.

What this generally means in practice

If you are a military spouse with a license from another state moving to Arizona, you likely have a viable path to working as a real estate agent here. We have seen this happen multiple times. The path is rarely instant (ADRE processes take time), but the path exists. Mention your specific situation during the first conversation and we can share what we know about how other military spouses have navigated this. We are not the licensing authority; the actual application and requirements are between you and ADRE. We strongly recommend confirming the current requirements directly with ADRE before making plans.

How heroSOLD fits while you are in the licensing transition

If your AZ license is pending, we can stay in conversation during the transition, help you understand what the heroSOLD platform would look like once you are licensed, and time the conversation so you can plug in as soon as your license is active. We do not push you into commitments while you are mid-transition.

Frequently asked questions

Which Arizona bases is heroSOLD recruiting for?

All five of Arizona's major military installations: Luke AFB in Glendale (Phoenix West Valley), Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, MCAS Yuma in Yuma, and Yuma Proving Ground (which shares the Yuma footprint with MCAS Yuma). Each base has its own market dynamics, lead patterns, and founding-cohort opportunity. The first conversation walks through which base fits your situation.

Do I have to be a current military spouse or veteran to join?

No. The James Sanson Team welcomes military-connected agents (spouses, veterans, transitioning service members) and civilian agents who want to specialize in the military niche. The common thread is genuine interest in serving military families, the discipline to follow the systems, and the willingness to be the PCS pro at your base instead of a generalist.

What does the James Sanson Team bring to the table in Arizona specifically?

James has been working Arizona real estate since 2002, helping thousands of Arizona households with their real estate needs and earning hundreds of 5-star reviews along the way. The team's seller-side AZ brand, MaricopaHomesForSale, runs alongside heroSOLD and lists and closes homes every week. That means you join a platform built by people who actually sell homes in Arizona every week, not a corporate recruitment pitch from people who left production years ago. The training, systems, and mentorship come from active production. None of that is a promise about your own results; it is the credential of the team you would be working with.

I am a military spouse with a real estate license in another state and we are moving to Arizona. Can I work here?

Likely yes, but the path depends on your specific license and circumstances. The Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) has licensing pathways that may apply to military spouses moving to Arizona, including provisions under the federal Military Spouses Residency Relief Act (MSRRA) and Arizona-specific licensing rules for spouses of active-duty service members stationed in Arizona. The general path is to apply with ADRE for an Arizona license, providing documentation of your active-duty spouse's orders and your existing license in good standing in your prior state. We are not the licensing authority; the actual application, requirements, and timeline are between you and ADRE. Mention your situation during the first conversation and we can walk through what we know.

Do you have an office in Arizona?

Not yet. heroSOLD runs as a cloud-first business platform on top of Real Broker's cloud brokerage. Our plan is for our team to lease small mission hubs at each major Arizona base once we have 8 or more agents at that base (MCAS Yuma and Yuma Proving Ground would share one hub). These hubs would be team-leased independent of Real Broker corporate facilities. For now, you work from wherever fits your life. Most of the James Sanson Team is based in the Phoenix metro, and we meet regularly via video and occasionally in person when geography allows.

What are the income expectations?

We do not promise income outcomes. Real estate income depends on market conditions, your effort, your experience, and many factors we cannot guarantee. What we can tell you: AZ has been our home market for over two decades, the lead patterns at the five bases are real, and agents who plug into the heroSOLD systems and work consistently generally see results that justify the model. Specific compensation conversations happen during the application process, where we walk through Real Broker's structure, our team's split, and what your situation looks like.

Do I have to join heroSOLD to join Real Broker in Arizona?

No. Any licensed Arizona real estate agent can apply to join Real Broker directly. Real's standard agent offering (the cloud platform, transaction management, brokerage services, commission structure, and access to equity-eligible compensation and revenue sharing) is available to all Real agents regardless of team or platform affiliation. Joining heroSOLD means operating on our business platform that runs on top of Real Broker, with access to our team-provided resources (PCS-focused lead generation, heroSOLD brand assets, training, mentorship, our growing referral network, and the future mission hubs). These heroSOLD resources are offered by the James Sanson Team, not by Real Broker corporately. They are independent of Real, and we follow Real's Agent Attraction Code of Conduct, which means we do not offer personalized incentives in exchange for naming us as a sponsor.
