For military spouses, veterans, and mission-driven agents.

Your career has been restarted with every PCS. Every base, a new market, a new network, a new climb from zero. heroSOLD is a business platform built specifically for military spouses, veterans, and transitioning service members who want a real estate career that travels with them. The moment you join from a new state, we expand to your state. Your section of the site goes live, the local lead routing turns on, the branding deploys.

You are not waiting for a company to expand to you. You are the expansion. This is the team for agents who want their work to mean something to the families they serve, and want a career that no PCS can take away.

Built on Real Broker, LLC. James Sanson, Team Lead. Working AZ real estate since 2002. Thousands of households served. Hundreds of 5-star reviews.

For military spouses

You move every 2 to 4 years. Every PCS, your career has to find its footing again. Maybe you started in nursing, or HR, or teaching, or accounting. Maybe you tried remote work and learned that not every job actually travels. Maybe you have been told, more than once, that real estate is one of the few licensed professions that can follow you base to base. That is true. What has not been true, until now, is having a team built around that reality.

The career you actually want

You want work that pays you for what you produce, not for showing up. You want to build relationships in your unit community, your neighborhood, your spouse's network. You want a calendar you control, so when the kids are sick or the next PCS is announced, you can adjust without quitting. You want a job that does not see your spouse's orders as a problem.

The career that does not get nuked at every PCS

heroSOLD is designed so your business travels with you. Your training is in the platform, not stuck at your previous brokerage. Your branding (the heroSOLD brand, plus your own personal positioning) goes wherever you go. The systems you learn at one base apply at the next base. Your relationships with the team continue. The Real Broker license follows reciprocity rules state to state (varies by state; we help you navigate). The portable-career story is real here because the team is built for it.

When orders drop, your business does not fall apart

The next time your service member gets orders, here is what happens. We update your section of the heroSOLD site to reflect the new base. We coordinate the destination state's licensing process (Real handles a lot of this; reciprocity rules apply state-by-state). Your training and systems travel with you because they live in the platform. Your branded assets refresh for the new market. The transition is structured, not improvised. You are not starting over.

If you already have a license in another state

You probably have a path to use it in your destination state, with paperwork. The federal Military Spouses Residency Relief Act (MSRRA) provides certain protections, and many states have specific provisions for military spouse license transfers. We are not the licensing authority for any state; the actual requirements and timelines belong with each state's real estate commission. We help you understand the general framework, connect you with the resources to figure out your specific path, and time the heroSOLD onboarding around your license transition.

For veterans and transitioning service members

You served. The question now is what comes next. Plenty of post-military paths exist; most of them put you back in a hierarchy not unlike the one you just left, often at lower pay and less autonomy. Real estate is different. It is a business you own, not a job you clock into. It is a profession where the skills you already developed (calm under pressure, organized communication, leading complex operations, finishing what you started) translate directly.

Real estate as a second career

Many of the strongest agents we work with came from a military background. The transition from active duty to real estate is not unusual; it is one of the more common second careers for veterans. The licensing process is manageable, the systems are learnable, the autonomy is real. What you bring to the table (the discipline of someone who finished things, the calm of someone who has seen worse than a difficult closing) is the part that is hard to teach to civilian agents.

Continuing to serve

The military niche specifically lets you continue serving the community you came from. You understand PCS in a way no civilian agent does. You speak the language. You read orders. You know what RNLT means. You know what a TMO appointment is. You know what an active-duty spouse handles when their service member is deployed. That is operational knowledge most agents will never have. heroSOLD lets you put that knowledge to work for families in one of the most stressful moments of their lives.

Transitioning while still active duty

If you are still in but planning the transition, we are happy to have early conversations to help you plan. The license can be earned during the transition. Real Broker's onboarding can be timed around your separation date. We can help you understand the path, what the timeline realistically looks like, and how to position yourself for a strong start when you actually exit. There is no obligation; the first conversation is informational.

How heroSOLD works (and what we are not)

Important framing before we go further: heroSOLD is not a brokerage. Real Broker, LLC is the brokerage.

Practical implications:

How the instant-expansion mechanic actually works

The most important thing about joining as the first agent in a state where heroSOLD does not yet operate: the expansion happens fast.

When you sign on, here is what gets configured during onboarding:

Your state and base section of the site

Your state gets added to the heroSOLD footprint. Your base or installation gets its own page (similar to the pages already live for Luke AFB, Davis-Monthan, Fort Huachuca, MCAS Yuma, and Yuma Proving Ground). The page is built with the relevant local context: base size, PCS patterns, local market notes. You contribute the local knowledge; we build the page from it.

Lead routing for your phone

Any leads that come in for your base or state get routed to you. The heroSOLD lead intake form already lives at multiple entry points across the site; we add your base to the dropdown and configure the routing so qualified leads at your installation reach you directly.

heroSOLD brand assets adapted to your market

The branded positioning (PCS pro, military niche specialist, the heroSOLD identity) deploys for your market. You can use the brand assets to market yourself across local channels: social, networking events, base spouse groups (where permitted), local Realtor networks, and so on.

Real Broker onboarding in parallel

Real Broker's licensing and onboarding process runs alongside the heroSOLD setup. The Real side handles the brokerage license, the technology platform, the standard agent setup. The heroSOLD side handles the team-specific training, systems, mentorship, and platform resources. Both processes can run in parallel rather than sequentially.

The principle

You are not waiting six months for a corporate expansion plan. You are working with a small team that ships fast. Specific timelines depend on your state's licensing process (if applicable), your local base details, and how quickly we can gather the content we need from you. As soon as you commit, we commit.

What heroSOLD provides vs. what Real Broker provides

Important to be precise about this so you know exactly what you are evaluating.

What Real Broker provides to every Real agent

Real Broker, LLC is a cloud-based real estate brokerage. The company provides its agents with the cloud technology platform, transaction management and brokerage services, the standard agent commission structure, and access to equity-eligible compensation and revenue sharing programs that all Real agents can participate in. Real does not provide physical brick-and-mortar offices or company-funded coworking memberships as part of its standard agent offering. These programs are the same regardless of which team or platform an agent joins inside Real, and any agent can join Real without joining heroSOLD or any team.

What the heroSOLD platform provides

heroSOLD is a business platform built by the James Sanson Team that runs on top of Real Broker. It is not a brokerage. It does not hold your license, process transactions, or replace any Real Broker function. What it does is provide tools and resources to help its agents build their own business in the military niche: PCS-focused lead generation, heroSOLD brand assets you can use for your own marketing, listing-first playbooks, training and systems, mentorship from the James Sanson Team, the growing referral network being built base by base, and our planned mission hubs once we hit 8 agents per base (team-leased, not Real Broker corporate facilities).

These heroSOLD platform resources are offered by the James Sanson Team, not by Real Brokerage Inc. They are not company-wide Real Broker programs. They are not required to join Real. Availability of specific resources can vary by market and may change over time. We follow Real Broker's Agent Attraction Code of Conduct: anything heroSOLD offers is offered to all agents who operate on the platform, on the same terms. We do not offer personalized incentives in exchange for naming us as a sponsor.

The team you would be joining

One thing worth being direct about: most teams pitching agents are themselves new. They left production years ago, they have not closed a deal in months or years, they sell the dream of real estate without doing the actual work anymore.

The James Sanson Team has been working Arizona real estate since 2002. In that time, our team has helped thousands of Arizona households with their real estate needs and earned hundreds of 5-star reviews along the way. The team's seller-side AZ brand, MaricopaHomesForSale, runs alongside heroSOLD and lists and closes homes every week. We are still in production. The systems, training, and mentorship we hand you on the heroSOLD platform come from that working reality.

That track record is the credential of the team you would be working with. It is not a promise about your own results. Real estate income depends on your effort, your market, your timing, and many factors no one can guarantee. But when you ask James a question about pricing a listing, handling a difficult buyer, working through a hardship situation, or managing a deployment-affected sale, the answer comes from someone who has done it across two decades. The reviews are publicly verifiable; ask us where to find them during the first conversation.

Frequently asked questions

I am a military spouse with a license in one state and we are PCSing to another. Can I still work as a real estate agent?

Likely yes, depending on the destination state's licensing rules and your specific license. The federal Military Spouses Residency Relief Act (MSRRA) provides certain protections, and many states have specific provisions for military spouse license transfers, reciprocity, or expedited processing. Each state's real estate commission has its own rules and timelines. We are not the licensing authority for any state; the application and requirements are between you and the destination state's real estate commission. We help you understand the general framework and connect you with the resources to figure out your specific path. Many military spouses have built portable real estate careers; the path exists with planning.

I am a veteran or transitioning service member. Can I join even without prior real estate experience?

Yes. Many of the strongest agents we work with came from a military background and entered real estate as a second career. The skills that translate well include calm under pressure, organized communication, leading complex operations, and the work ethic of someone who finished things. Real estate is a learnable skill set; what is harder to teach is the discipline you already have. We support agents through licensing, onboarding, training, and the early business-building period. If you are still on active duty and transitioning, we can have early conversations to help you plan the transition.

Does it matter where I live? Can I join from anywhere in the U.S.?

Yes, you can join from anywhere in the U.S. heroSOLD currently operates in Arizona. The moment you join from a new state, we expand to your state. Your state and base section of the site goes live, the local lead routing is configured, the heroSOLD brand deploys for your market, and the Real Broker onboarding runs in parallel. You do not wait for the company to expand to you; your joining is the expansion. Real Broker is licensed in many U.S. states, so the brokerage side travels with you; we coordinate the platform side.

What if my service member spouse PCSes after I have already started building my business with heroSOLD?

That is one of the situations heroSOLD is built for. When your spouse gets new orders, your real estate business does not start from zero. Your heroSOLD platform, your training, your relationships with the team, and your branding all travel with you. We help you handle the destination state's licensing process (where reciprocity applies), update your section of the site to reflect the new base, and warm-start your business at the new installation. The portable career is the whole point.

What is the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification, and is it required?

The MRP is a designation offered by the National Association of Realtors for agents who specialize in military relocation. It is not required to join heroSOLD or to work with military clients, but many of our agents pursue it because the training is solid and the designation adds credibility with military clients. We support agents who want to pursue it. heroSOLD also has its own internal playbooks specific to PCS situations, deployment-affected sales, VA loan handling, spouse-led transactions, and hardship situations. The MRP plus heroSOLD's playbooks plus a clear branded position makes the specialist niche clear to military families.

How much can I expect to earn?

We do not promise income outcomes. Real estate income depends on market conditions, your effort, your experience, and many factors we cannot guarantee. What we can tell you: agents who plug into the heroSOLD systems, work consistently on the training, and follow the listing-first approach generally see results that justify the model. The James Sanson Team has been working real estate since 2002 and has helped thousands of households; that is the credential of the team you would be working with, not a promise about your own results. Specific compensation conversations happen during the application process.

Do I have to join heroSOLD to join Real Broker?

No. Any licensed real estate agent in any state where Real operates can apply to join Real Broker directly. Real's standard agent offering (the cloud platform, transaction management, brokerage services, commission structure, and access to equity-eligible compensation and revenue sharing) is available to all Real agents regardless of team or platform affiliation. Joining heroSOLD means operating on our business platform that runs on top of Real Broker, with access to our platform-provided resources (PCS-focused lead generation, heroSOLD brand assets you can use for your own business, training, mentorship, the growing referral network, and our future mission hubs). These heroSOLD resources are offered by the James Sanson Team, not by Real Broker corporately. We follow Real's Agent Attraction Code of Conduct, which means we do not offer personalized incentives in exchange for naming us as a sponsor.
